Why this Blog?
I left my 40+ hour a week job eight months ago for a better quality of life with my husband and three children. I had never clipped a coupon and rarely worked hard to save money when shopping for groceries and other products. But I was forced to change my lifestyle. I have learned from other "bloggers" the art of the coupon and the game of shopping. I am currently saving well over $600 a month from what I used to spend on groceries, convenience, and eating out. I want to pass along my new-found knowledge to you. If I can do this, anyone can! Once you learn the system, paying full price will feel ridiculous! Start slow, a few tips at a time, and before long you will be on your way!

I just did this at Target to get some travel-sizes for an upcoming trip where we are going to be flying. The cashier was NOT happy with me! I explained to her that I could use the coupons (I got to print out 3 for some reason!), and the lady behind me even jumped in and told her that stores all over town do the same thing. (I thanked her for that!) She told me about 3 times that I couldn't do that b/c then they would be free (duh). She finally called the manager who told her to manually enter the amount of the product since it was less than the coupon amount. The cashier kind of threw my bags at me when I was done, but I got 3 free bottles of solution!
Yes, every once in a while, you will get a cashier who doesn't like their job very much! :) I definitely have my "favorites," and look for them each time I go. We have 6 CVS stores in a 5 mile radius from my house, but I go to the same one (which is not the closest), b/c they are always so helpful. Although, I've never really had huge problems at CVS. You can also print out Target's coupon policy on their website and take it with you for future visits. Don't let it discourage you -as long as you are polite, you are in the right and deserve to save!
